We use a wide spectrum of materials..
Wood
We use carefully selected woods, always naturally dried for minimum several years. Our favourite woods are exotic, but we often use european species also. We also like to make inlays*.
Composits/ ceramic materials/ gemstones
In some cases,( especially in Ligularions ) we also use zirconium ceramics, sapphire and ruby bearings, carbon fiber and another non- metallic materials. They provide strength and stability in most critical joints. In special projects we just cannot resist to using natural and synthetic gemstones to add that beautiful spark and spice up the look!
Metals
We like to use very wide variety of metals and alloys, sometimes in cooperation with laboratories. Besides widely used materials( copper, aluminium alloys, brass, bronze, stainless steels, nickel, tin) we use precious metals( silver, platinum, gold, palladium, ruthenium ) and more exotic metals( titanium alloys, indium, tungsten, tantallum, etc )- all this for achieving best quality of sound we can!
Fabrics
For making keys action as quiet and smooth as possible, we use wide selection of natural cashmere and sometimes another fabrics, constantly experimenting and enlarging resources.

- for ornaments we use also another organic materials- mother of pearl, pearls itself, amber. Fou our instruments we never use bones and woods of endangered species( based on CITES ). We also try to minimise usage of natural leather, making some of our instruments free of animal suffering.
